HCLF Pumpkin Fries

Pumpkins are one of my favourite foods at the moment, they have an amazing texture and really give me that fall feeling. These fries have an crunchy, jet chewy texture.and taste great with all the spices. They are very easy to make, so the perfect weekend food.  

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 a small pumpkin (Red Kuri)
  • 1/4 tsp coriander 
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • 1/2 tsp thyme

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 190°C.

Peel the pumpkin and cut it in strips. Now cut all the strips in half, this way they are easier to eat.

Put the pieces into a bowl and with your hands mix in the spices. Take a baking tray and put some parchment paper on top. Now place the pieces on the parchment paper and if you want you can sprinkle some more spices over the fries.

Bake for about 25-30 minutes (depending on the thickness of the fries).
